In a recent Medium post Apollo Fintech, which created Apollo, all in once currency that boasts of all the features of mainstream cryptocurrencies in a blockchain network that they consider to be the fastest in the world, visited Egypt, Niger and Malawi.
According to the post, Apollo team met with officials executives and influencers in Egypt to discuss the objective of a national currency initiative to gain wider adoption of Apollo all in one currency that can be used by institutions, merchants, and consumers.
Commercial uses include medium of exchange, remittances and storage of value. Steve McCullah, director of business development, tweeted on Dec. 24, " We have had incredible meetings for far in Egypt. Egypt certainly has one of the most forward thinking governments around."
