Singapore financial technology company Hydra X announced a partnership with U.S.-based Seed CX, the institutional digital asset exchange headquartered in Chicago. Through its subsidiaries, Seed CX offers a licensed exchange for institutional trading and settlement of spot digital asset products, and plans to offer a market for CFTC-regulated digital asset derivatives.
The partnership will integrate Seed CX as one of the trading venues available on Sigma, an advanced multi-asset and multi-venue trading platform by Hydra X which is open for beta now. Once the integration is complete, users who have accounts with Seed CX will be able to view prices, transact and monitor their portfolios on the Sigma platform. In addition to adding another regulated exchange to the Hydra X financial ecosystem, the integration with Seed CX allows institutional users access to a fiat-cryptocurrency gateway.
“Our Sigma trading platform aims to create a truly integrated cross-asset and cross-venue ecosystem by offering a seamless user experience across different asset classes and trading venues. A connection with Seed CX will bring us much closer to this goal. “This partnership will also be useful in expanding our user base to include institutional traders seeking regulated and secure access to the world of digital assets,” said Daryl Low, CEO, Hydra X.
