Saudi IOT Exhibition set to discuss Blockchain in its 2020 edition

Following its two successful editions, Saudi International Exhibition and Conference for Internet of Things (IoT) in its third edition is all set to redefine and rejuvenate the new wave of ‘Digital Transformation’ in the kingdom. The all-inclusive technology event, which will bring together the technology leaders, innovators, visionaries, technocrats, tech giants on a single platform, will be held from March 8 to 10, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in Riyadh.

Known as the region’s `Biggest’ IoT event, Saudi IoT promises to unlock countless new business opportunities for its participants and attendees. This year, Saudi IoT will incorporate all the emerging technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity, which play a vital role in driving Digital Transformation in the kingdom.  

Around 200 companies from within and outside the kingdom are expected to present a spectrum of their innovations at the event, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and organised by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and executed by New Horizon for Conferences & Exhibitions.

Saudi IoT 2020 is a plinth of ingenuity, said the spokesperson, adding: “There’s has been a persistent growth year-over-year since its inception. The third Saudi IoT’s growth is expected welcome 30,000 attendees over the 3 days.

One of the highlights of the event is the setting up of `country pavilions’. For the first time, Saudi IoT will have pavilions from different countries like Germany, Turkey, India, China, France, and the UK. The targeted companies come from the information technology sector, software platform developers, cybersecurity companies, service and telecommunications providers, technological and R&D centres, associations, educational Institutions and IoT-related entities.

The major feature of the event is the Inno Cube: Start-up Centriole – an exclusive opportunity for the sagacious and aspiring intellects to gain visibility, recognition and foothold to turn their talent and innovation into future technocrats and entrepreneurs, in the field of IoT, AI and Blockchain based products and services.

Research cynosure: This platform, previously called as ‘Students Research Corner” gained maximum attention and was a great attraction for the researchers, students, professors, teachers.
