LiberHealth Blockchain healthcare platform wins Disruptor Award in Egypt

LiberHealth built on Hyperledger Fabric to expand operations in MENA

LiberHealth which was launched in 2017 utilizing blockchain to share health care records across hospitals and healthcare sector in an effort to save lives by making health history information available on a blockchain network. Built on Hyperledger Fabric and utilizing digital identity solution, LiberHealth has since then seen strong support from GIST business incubation program in the USA as well as In5 program in the UAE with Dubai Internet City.

Recently Syed Abrar Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer and Liber health announced the LiberHealth has received 1st prize award grant at the Disruptors' Lab Challenge held in Egypt.

As he states, " It gives me great honor to share that Liber Health has received 1st prize grant award at the Disruptors' Lab Challenge in Egypt! Disruptors’ Lab is a collaboration between Techne, Roche, AUC Venture Lab, and Falak Ventures. The award will open new opportunities for us to work with these organizations and marks a new milestone for our expansion into Middle East and Africa region."
