In cooperation with Information Technology at Saudi Aramco and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Misk Academy has held an interactive discussion on “Blockchain and Data Privacy.”
The panel discussed blockchain in industrial areas and alliances based on it, business management and development, and the platform’s role in supporting agreements, proofreading documents and reducing costs in business.
Blockchain experts in the panel included the leader of the Geospatial Support Group in Information Technology at Saudi Aramco, Adel Al-Otaibi, Marwan Al-Hamdan, who heads oversight practices of information technology and cybersecurity in the Saudi financial sector, including banks, and insurance and finance companies.
The panel discussed topics that included the need to have commercial and financial contracting with various countries.
