Lebanese dog advocate and dog activist Assaad Makary, to release MetaDogTagz NFT Collection. Makary is currently recruiting animal an NFT enthusiasts to build up the project which he hopes to launch in the summer of 2022.
MetaDoTagz NFT is as per their website a unique collection of 8,888 Metadogtagz NFTs that are operating on the Ethereum ERC-721 blockchain. Each tag provides the holders with drooling tags in the Metaverse so to use them on their dog’s avatar. will be able to trade their tag within the community and with the support of the team, to find the name they wish to HODL.

As per their website 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to dog rescue organizations and shelters in Ukraine, Philippine, Greece, and Lebanon to help improve the financial states of those shelters that have been impacted by war, financial stability, and other adversities while raising awareness about the situation.
The founders are seeking to purchase land in the metaverse to create a pet friendly park and a dog tag shop for the community.
A UAE Stray Dogs Center has done something similar as well.
