A blockchain startup based in Saudi Arabia called IR4LAB has become a part of the Ministry of Communications Information Technology tech champions accelerator program.
This program is powered by Plug and Play, the largest innovation platform globally, which connects leading international corporations with innovative startups in various industries.
Plug and Play has helped startups and corporations raise over $9 billion in funding since it was established in 2006.
By joining Plug and Play's first Metaverse acceleration cohort in Saudi Arabia, IR4LAB aims to accelerate its growth and expansion not only in Saudi Arabia but also globally.
Recently, IR4LAB signed a historic agreement with Saudi Ground Services during LEAP 2023 to implement a blockchain document solution in 28 airports in KSA.
Majd Jamal Alafifi, the CEO of IR4LAB, expressed his delight at joining the international program based in Saudi Arabia, which will boost their growth both locally and globally.
Mohamed EL KANDRI, the CTO of IR4LAB, also acknowledged the achievement and highlighted their excitement to join the Plug and Play global community, which will provide them with the opportunity to enhance their innovation capabilities to new technologies such as the Metaverse.
