Yasser Alobaidan serves as the CEO of Tharawat Technology and has played a pivotal role in advancing the blockchain ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), Yasser played a pivotal role in establishing the first-ever blockchain infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

Teaming up with prominent blockchain infrastructure providers like Ankr, Chainstack, and Chain ID, the company deployed 25 public RPC nodes across two internet exchange centers, laying a foundation for blockchain development across various sectors.

In addition to the infrastructure achievements, Yasser’s endeavors extend into impactful use cases like the green exchange platform, aligning with Vision 2030’s environmental goals.

Undeterred by regulatory uncertainties, he actively engages with government organizations to shape policies and standards, striving to propel Saudi Arabia to the forefront of blockchain technology.

Yasser’s leadership extends beyond infrastructure, as he orchestrated the highly successful ETH Riyadh 2023 conference, attracting more than 150 participants from 35 countries and fostering insightful discussions in the blockchain and Web3 technology realm.

In March 2023, Tharawat Technology also pioneered Web3 Delight, the first Web3 and tech business-dedicated event in the Kingdom complimented by a blockchain tech hackathon.
