DP World will implement Blockchain technology to improve supply chain systems

In a recent press conference announcing DP World’s financial results for 2017, Chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem stated, “We need innovative approaches using technology to help organization become more efficient. We are now looking at Blockchain and how we can enhance our supply chain with it and remove in efficiencies. We are also looking into artificial intelligence.”

DP World made revenues of $4.7 billion in 2017 and profits of $1.2 billion.
