Dubai’s One Central district is set to host a week-long series of events combining digital assets, art, and music, as World Token Summit 3.0 and TheBlock Festival roll out programming from April 27 to May 1.
The initiative extends beyond a traditional conference format, with multiple venues across the district hosting satellite events, exhibitions, and community gatherings alongside the main summit.
Part of the event’s programming focuses on cultural elements. The Dubai International Art Centre will mark its 50th anniversary with a two-day exhibition at the 25h Hotel, highlighting the evolution of the UAE’s art scene.
In addition, digital artist VESA is expected to showcase a series of “Art Cars” installations across One Central, in collaboration with the Dubai Blockchain Center.
Live performances are also scheduled as part of the broader event. House music DJ Jerry Ropero is set to headline two nights of performances, alongside other acts contributing to the festival’s music lineup.
The week-long program includes a mix of industry events, networking sessions, and community meetups:
The program begins with a kickoff gathering tied to the crypto community, setting the tone for the week’s activities.
The summit officially opens with a flagship event, alongside panel discussions and the start of investor-focused sessions under the iMOS program.
An evening jazz event featuring international performers is also scheduled.
Midweek events focus on smaller, targeted discussions, including impact-focused meetups and private ecosystem dinners involving blockchain projects.
Programming shifts toward community engagement, with daytime meetups and lighter-format sessions, including a tech-themed comedy show and closing investor gatherings.
The week concludes with a private dinner and a final after-party, marking the end of the summit and associated activities.
The structure of the event reflects a broader shift in how digital asset conferences are being organized. Increasingly, industry gatherings are incorporating cultural and entertainment elements alongside technical discussions.
This approach aims to create a more immersive environment, where networking, community-building, and lifestyle experiences are integrated into the core of the event.
