Stake, a MENA-leading digital real estate investment platform, has unveiled what it describes as the Middle East’s first real estate prediction market, offering investors a new way to forecast trends in Dubai’s property sector and measure their outlook against actual market performance.
The new feature, called StakePredict, allows users to submit predictions on the future direction of Dubai’s real estate market, covering areas such as property prices, transaction activity, neighborhood performance, and broader market trends. Participants are then ranked based on the accuracy of their forecasts once official market data becomes available.
The launch comes as Dubai’s property market continues to demonstrate resilience despite periods of regional uncertainty. Transaction volumes have remained strong, while luxury real estate sales have continued to attract local and international investors, reinforcing Dubai’s position as one of the world’s most closely watched property markets.
Prediction markets have gained popularity globally as tools for forecasting outcomes across politics, economics, finance, and major world events. Stake is now applying that concept to real estate, creating a structured mechanism to capture investor expectations and compare them against actual market results.
Built directly into the Stake app, the feature operates as a quarterly competition and has been designed to comply with Sharia principles. Participants answer a series of multiple-choice questions related to Dubai’s property market, with responses later evaluated using independently published market data provided by real estate analytics firm Reidin.
Unlike traditional prediction markets, StakePredict does not require users to place wagers or risk capital. Instead, participants compete based on the accuracy of their market insights, with top performers receiving rewards that can be converted into real estate ownership opportunities through the platform.
Stake believes the initiative could evolve into a new source of market intelligence by aggregating the expectations of thousands of investors into a measurable sentiment indicator.
Rami Tabbara, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Stake, said the platform was created to address a longstanding gap in the market.
“Dubai’s real estate sector generates constant discussion among investors, analysts, brokers, and residents, but there has never been a structured way to capture and measure those expectations,” Tabbara said.
He added that the initiative transforms market opinions into quantifiable insights while creating a more engaging way for investors to participate in the real estate ecosystem.
According to Tabbara, one of StakePredict’s defining features is that participants can potentially gain exposure to property ownership through the quality of their market analysis rather than through an upfront financial commitment.
The launch also reflects growing investor interest in data-driven decision-making within the real estate sector.
As Dubai continues to attract global capital, demand for deeper market insights has increased among both retail and institutional investors seeking to understand where property values, transaction volumes, and emerging communities may be heading next.
By collecting forecasts directly from market participants, StakePredict aims to provide a unique view into investor sentiment that traditional market reports may not capture.
The inaugural competition will run between June 16 and June 30, 2026, with participants answering ten questions focused on key areas of Dubai’s real estate market. Results will be published once independently verified quarterly market data becomes available.
The introduction of StakePredict highlights a broader trend toward the gamification of investment platforms, where technology is being used to increase engagement while helping users develop a deeper understanding of financial markets.
While the initiative is designed as a competition, Stake argues that its broader value lies in encouraging informed analysis and promoting greater transparency within the real estate investment ecosystem.
