Settlemint Blockchain solutions provider opened its third office in KSA in early April.
The launch event for SettleMint was held at the Belgian Embassy on April 2, with the support of Belgian Ambassador Dominique Mineur and the embassy personnel. More than 120 government officials and industry leaders from Saudi Arabia and the UAE attended the event.
In addition to SettleMint’s CEO Matthew Van Niekerk, the evening featured speakers from STC and SAGIA (Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority), who expressed their eagerness to work with SettleMint’s core technology.
Saudi Arabia is on track to grow as a powerhouse economy under a rigorous innovation and improvement program outlined in Vision 2030. Blockchain technology is included in this ambitious plan to deliver a complete transformation of the economy. SettleMint’s solutions aim to make blockchain technology integration easy for developers.
“With the opening of our Riyadh office, we are excited to play a direct role in the realization of Vision 2030 and looking forward to working with the organizations leading this transformation,” the company said.
Settlemint made their first visit to KSA back in 2017, and then carried out an implementation with Islamic Development Bank in KSA alongside its partner ATEON.
