OKX, a trusted global crypto exchange, has announced a major platform upgrade, introducing the Money App and a refreshed interface designed to unify its Simple, Exchange, and Web3 modes. The rollout begins this week in the US, EEA, Singapore, Brazil, and Türkiye, with global expansion to follow.
OKX, which started as an engineering-first company, has built its reputation on infrastructure, security, and reliability at scale. But as crypto adoption grows, the company says performance alone is no longer enough — usability and trust must also be engineered.
This shift has led to a design-led engineering approach, applying the same rigor used in backend systems to the user-facing experience.
The upgrade strengthens OKX’s vision of becoming a crypto super app, offering three seamlessly integrated modes:
Users can switch between modes with a single click, making the platform versatile for beginners, advanced traders, and Web3 users alike.
At the center of the update is the Money App, a faster and simpler way to handle payments and digital asset management. Integrated across all three modes, the Money App ensures consistency for users whether they are onboarding, trading, or interacting with Web3.
Alongside the Money App, OKX has also rolled out a redesigned interface:
OKX emphasizes that the redesign prioritizes clarity, speed, and reliability, rather than visual style alone.
OKX confirmed that interface improvements will now become a regular feature of its roadmap, evolving alongside system performance upgrades. The company sees this balance of engineering strength and design clarity as the foundation for the future of digital finance.
