The Future Blockchain Summit 2024, the region's most immersive large-scale blockchain event, kicked off on October 13 at Dubai Harbour and runs until October 16. Bringing together over 1,200 investors, 120 exhibitors, and 150+ speakers from over 50 countries, it unites the global blockchain and crypto ecosystem under one roof.
Dubai, a recognized Web3 hub, continues to lead blockchain innovation with its progressive policies and robust regulatory frameworks. Since its inception in 2018, aligned with the Dubai Blockchain Strategy, the summit has emerged as the flagship event for blockchain across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Opening the event, H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasized Dubai's leadership in fostering blockchain and AI innovations.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem participated in a fireside chat, offering key insights into Dubai’s role as a global blockchain hub and how forward-thinking regulations are driving sectoral growth.
Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of AI at Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism, joined discussions on the intersection of AI and blockchain in reshaping tourism and the broader economy.
