CoinMENA, a leading regulated crypto trading platform in the MENA region, is making waves in the world of cryptocurrency advertising with its debut campaign, “Your Future, Your Choice.”
Partnering with creative agency Bigsea, CoinMENA is using sharp satire to critique the harsh economic realities of today’s world, and in doing so, is redefining how cryptocurrency is marketed.
The campaign tackles two universal challenges: rising living costs and the struggle to grow savings. Through a series of two short films, CoinMENA humorously illustrates modern-day financial difficulties with relatable scenarios that resonate deeply with viewers, all while adding a touch of mobster menace.
In the first film, a young man struggles to pay his rent, only to be strong-armed by mobsters into emptying his wallet—an all-too-familiar situation for anyone who’s watched their rent rise year after year.
The second film continues this theme, showing the same man trying to grow his savings, only to watch helplessly as a mobster clerk and his gang pocket his hard-earned cash, leaving him with a paltry single coin in “interest.”
The scene serves as a clever metaphor for how difficult it is for the average person to grow their savings, particularly in a world where traditional banking systems and inflation seem to undermine progress at every turn.
CoinMENA’s campaign flips the script, offering an optimistic call to action: “Don’t get bullied by inflation” and “Don’t get bullied for wanting more.” The campaign positions Bitcoin as a reliable alternative, one that provides protection against inflation and serves as a superior savings vehicle in the digital age.

CoinMENA’s founders, Dina Sam’an and Talal Tabbaa, share the bold vision behind the campaign: “We wanted to tell it like it is.
Bitcoin is humanity’s first purposefully engineered money, designed to preserve and appreciate in value, unlike fiat money, which is designed to depreciate and lose value continuously. It represents hope for everyone struggling with the rising cost of living, offering an alternative way to save your time and energy.”
Serge Asaad, CEO of Bigsea, sheds light on the campaign’s creative inspiration: “This campaign is about giving people a moment of realization—that the ‘old way’ is not working out for them.
CoinMENA offers not just an alternative, but a real sense of control and optimism for the future. That’s where the satire comes in: we wanted to make people laugh, then think, and ultimately act.”
The use of satire in this campaign is not just for humor’s sake, but to create a shift in mindset. It calls attention to the systemic issues many face with traditional savings methods, prompting viewers to consider a more secure and empowering option in Bitcoin.
CoinMENA’s “Your Future, Your Choice” campaign delivers a straightforward yet powerful message: when rising living costs and the struggle to save leave you feeling powerless, Bitcoin with CoinMENA offers a way to regain control.
The tagline “Your Future, Your Choice” captures the essence of the campaign, emphasizing personal agency in the fight against financial hardship.
