Tarik Erk

Tarik Erk is a trailblazer in the digital asset industry with over a decade of experience in regulatory compliance, market expansion, product launches and government affairs. Tarik has recently joined Binance to lead the MENAT region. Tarik is instrumental in driving successful growth for the regulated business in the region and reinforcing Binance’s standing as the world’s largest and most trusted exchange. Prior to joining Binance, Tarik served as the GM for Middle East and Africa in the digital asset space. In 2023, Tarik was recognized as one of the most influential figures in Singapore’s FinTech ecosystem by FinTech Nation. He also served as a board member for the Singapore Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association. Tarik’s digital asset experience began in late 2017 with Paxos in New York City. Prior to that, Tarik worked in various roles with large financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase and Commerzbank. Tarik is originally from Buffalo, NY and attended The Ohio State University for his BA and Mitchell Hamline School of Law for his JD. Tarik resides in Dubai with his wife and is an active part of the UAE’s growing digital asset community.
