Global Experts on Metaverse and Web 3.0 Gather in Dubai for the Second Edition of MetaWeek

The MetaWeek Summit took place on September 12-13, 2022 at Grand Hyatt Dubai. Insightful sessions on stage brought together the brightest minds of the Metaverse industry and the Dubai community.

Digitization of spiritual life of communities and even the religious life of people was discussed during a fireside chat with Juwan Lee, Founder & Chairman of NexChange Group, and Dr Elie Abadie, Senior Rabbi, Jewish Council of the Emirates, Rabbi, Association of Gulf Jewish Communities.

Frank Fitzgerald, Founder, Pax.world and Jason Luo, CEO, BitForex, shared their visions on how Metaverse will nurture the business environment and the blockchain & digital assets industry. One of the most anticipated sessions of the day, Sustainability Goals and Global Social Impact, impressed the audience with a number of use cases and projects advancing this field and changing people’s lives for good.

Experts on sustainability delivered unique insights on how Web 3.0 helps addressing climate change and carbon credits challenges. One of the biggest themes of the day was regulation and governments policies towards Web 3.0 and blockchain initiatives, with experts representing MENA, Africa, Barbados, the US and global regulatory perspective.

Digital asset market trends panel gathered a full room, with proponents of stable coins and digital assets defining the current and future directions for the market and overall mass adoption of digital currencies. The all star panel session on Metaverse architecture touched upon a number of points such as improved user experience, security and accessibility, interoperability of different verses and tech infrastructure.
