The DLT Science Foundation is excited to announce that Dubai will host the 10th P2P Financial Systems International Workshop (P2PFISY 2024) on October 16-17, 2024.
This landmark event, which celebrates a decade of groundbreaking discussions and research in decentralized finance, will bring together global leaders, regulators, and academics to explore the future of financial systems.
The workshop will be held in collaboration with the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), Dubai’s pioneering regulatory body for virtual assets. The event will coincide with the Future Blockchain Summit and GITEX, further highlighting Dubai's role as a leading finance and technology hub.
Past workshops have been hosted by esteemed institutions such as the Federal Reserve, Deutsche Bundesbank, Bank of Italy, and the European Central Bank, with contributions from central banks like the Bank of England, Bank of Canada, and De Nederlandsche Bank. Nonetheless, the 10th edition promises to continue this tradition of excellence, featuring a diverse program of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and presentations from top experts in the field.

Academics are invited to submit their research for consideration through the workshop’s Call for Papers.
Dr. Paolo Tasca, co-founder and chairman of the DLT Science Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with VARA. “Dubai has emerged as a leader in crypto adoption.
