Three Ways Blockchain Explorers Chart a new Direction

IBM surveyed 3000 C-suite professionals across the globe as part of blockchain study. 33% of those surveyed are considering or actively engaged in blockchain 8% are explorers early adopters

IBM recently published its C-Suite Blockchain study that discusses how early adopters or what they call explorers differ from passive companies. In the sudy IBM found that 33% of the 3000 C-suite executives surveyed were csidering or actively engaged in blockchain. Only 8% were leading or first adopters or what they call explorers. The report discusses the various differences between explorer and passive. For example 8 in 10 explorers are investing in blockchain in response to shifting profit pools or the oppportunity to develop new business models. As stated in the report blockchain could kill e-commerce for example because it would be possible for any two people on the planet to trade with each other directly without depending on intermediary and this is how blockchain leads the way in sharing economy.
