MANTRA, a force in the mission to revolutionize Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization globally, has successfully completed an $11 million funding round, with Shorooq Partners leading the charge.
Shorooq Partners, a renowned venture and technology investor in the MENA region, joined forces with other key investors including Three Point Capital, Forte Securities, Caladan, Virtuzone, Hex Trust, Token Bay Capital, GameFi Ventures, Mapleblock, Fuse Capital, and 280 Capital.
This funding injection is a major step forward in their mission to revolutionize Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization on a global scale, particularly in emerging markets like the Middle East and Asia.
Moreover, the vision at MANTRA is to unlock greater accessibility to investment opportunities in regions such as the Middle East and Asia through RWA tokenization. By enhancing market liquidity and fostering growth, they aim to catalyze economic activity and development in areas that have historically faced barriers to entry in traditional financial markets.
With this strategic funding, MANTRA aims to achieve three key objectives:
According to the company, MANTRA's secure and compliant chain infrastructure, coupled with their commitment to providing a regulatory-compliant Layer 1 blockchain, enables the seamless creation and trading of RWAs. This empowers traditional finance institutions to harness the potential of blockchain technology.
As they gear up for the launch of the Hongbai Incentivized Testnet, this strategic funding will play a crucial role in advancing MANTRA Chain development. The Hongbai Testnet serves as a bridge between Hong Kong and Dubai, symbolizing their commitment to fostering economic collaboration and cross-border investment between two leading financial centers.
It is worth noting that Shorooq Partners are the leading technology investor across emerging markets, partnering with exceptional founders, building enduring businesses, and generating big returns to their partners.
