Binance Academy and Gulf Colleges Launch Accredited Blockchain Diploma in Saudi Arabia

Gulf Colleges, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading higher education institutions, has partnered with Binance Academy, the educational division of Binance, the world’s largest blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, to introduce one of the region’s first accredited entrepreneurship and innovation diploma programs.

The initiative was developed in collaboration with King Saud University’s Entrepreneurship Institute and officially announced at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce in the presence of academic leaders, strategic partners, and Binance Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan.

This milestone marks one of the first accredited academic integrations of Binance Academy in Saudi Arabia, bridging the gap between higher education and real-world blockchain applications.

Founded in 2016, Gulf Colleges offers degree programs in IT, Business, Law, and English, aligning with the evolving needs of the Saudi job market. With its strong academic leadership and deep ties to the Kingdom’s commercial and industrial sectors, Gulf Colleges plays a pivotal role in preparing graduates to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification goals under Vision 2030.

As part of the new diploma, students will complete four core Binance Academy courses integrated into Gulf Colleges’ accredited curriculum:

• Blockchain fundamentals
• Digital assets
• Web3 technologies
• Emerging sectors such as GameFi and the metaverse

Graduates will gain more than a diploma. Students will also receive Binance Academy certificates, access to internship opportunities, workshops, networking events across the Kingdom, the Binance Student Ambassador Program, and participation in BNB Chain hackathons, giving them the chance to apply blockchain skills in real-world projects.

By embedding blockchain, Web3, and entrepreneurship education into Saudi Arabia’s academic framework, this collaboration supports Vision 2030’s mission of building a skilled workforce equipped to lead in the digital economy and drive sustainable national development.
