Animoca Brands, a company that champions digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with stc play to collaborate on publishing video games in the MENA region through stc play platform and other distribution channels. As one of the largest telecom companies in the Middle East, stc play provides access to millions of business and retail users across its broad range of services. This partnership marks a significant step forward in Animoca Brands' expansion strategy in the region.
Yat Siu, the co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, said, "We are excited to partner with stc play and further our mission to support and develop the gaming and Web3 industries in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. By bridging the gap between global and local game development studios and their audiences, we aim to create new opportunities for players and creators alike."
Bader Almarshoud, the head of stc play, added, "Our collaboration with Animoca Brands is a continuation of our venture into the gaming industry, and we are delighted to expand the gaming sector in Saudi Arabia by publishing video games in the MENA region through various distribution channels.
