TOKEN2049, the premier global crypto event, has announced major updates to its Dubai 2026 schedule in response to ongoing safety concerns in the UAE and the broader Middle East region. The Dubai edition of TOKEN2049, originally planned for 2026, will now take place on 21–22 April 2027, while Gateway Dubai, initially scheduled for 1–2 May 2026, has been cancelled.
TOKEN2049 has long been recognized for bringing together the most influential voices in the crypto industry from around the world. Postponing the Dubai edition to April 2027 allows the global community to convene at full strength, without compromising the high standards of excellence the event is known for.
All registered TOKEN2049 tickets will automatically carry forward to the next Dubai edition. No action is required from ticket holders. Alternatively, attendees may transfer their tickets to TOKEN2049 Singapore, scheduled for 7–8 October 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, by completing a simple online form using their ticket email and number.

Due to the current Middle East conflict and safety conditions in the UAE, Gateway Dubai has been cancelled. Ticket holders who purchased passes through Luma, Moongate, or Tribute, or booked hotel reservations via promocode, will receive full refunds within 14 days.
The organizers are exploring alternative formats to host a Gateway event before the end of 2026 and will announce updates in the near future.
Despite these changes, Dubai remains a leading hub for the digital asset ecosystem. TOKEN2049 organizers reaffirmed their confidence in the city’s role as a global center for innovation and digital assets and expressed gratitude to Dubai’s regulators and government partners for their continued support throughout the planning process.
“We look forward to returning with an even stronger TOKEN2049 Dubai in April 2027,” the announcement read.
