Robert is the Chief Executive Officer, MENA at Ctrl Alt, where he leads strategic growth across the region with a focus on tokenization and bridging traditional and digital finance. He works closely with governments, major financial institutions and regulators across the GCC to support the development of compliant digital asset infrastructure and next-generation digital capital markets. Under his leadership, the firm served as tokenization partner for the Dubai Land Department’s Real Estate Tokenization Project, obtained a VASP license from Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, becoming the first-ever firm to receive an Issuer license in addition to holding a Broker-Dealer license, and has tokenized more than $850 million in assets spanning real estate, private credit, funds, commodities and other asset classes. Robert brings a strong foundation in investment banking, having structured new financial products for NBFIs at Lloyds Banking Group in London. His experience spans corporate finance, capital markets, and structured solutions, with a track record of executing complex transactions across both traditional and digital markets. Since relocating to Dubai, Robert has built and scaled multiple ventures across FinTech and PropTech, developing deep market insight into the regulatory, commercial, and cultural dynamics of the Middle East. He has also worked alongside leading blockchains to design and deliver innovative tokenization frameworks that are effective and institutionally adoptable, leading partnerships and integrations with Ripple (XRPL), Solana Labs, Ava Labs and the Canton Network. Robert combines financial engineering discipline with practical execution, enabling Ctrl Alt to support governments and financial institutions in bringing real-world assets on-chain at scale.
