Fuze
Mo Ali Yusuf is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fuze, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy, partnerships, and institutional adoption across digital assets and payments infrastructure in the Middle East. He works closely with regulators, banks, and large enterprises to enable compliant deployment of digital asset capabilities at scale. Alongside his role at Fuze, Mo serves as Co-Chair of the MENA Fintech Association’s Digital Assets Working Group, helping shape industry dialogue and regulatory frameworks across the region. Prior to founding Fuze, he held senior leadership roles at Checkout.com, where he led commercial expansion across MENAP, and at Visa, where he worked on digital commerce, fintech partnerships, and payments innovation for the Middle East and North Africa. Under his leadership, Fuze secured a record-breaking seed-funding round in Q3 2023, aiming to revolutionize digital asset infrastructure in the MENA region. In 2025, Fuze raised $12.2 million in a Series A funding round to power regulated crypto infrastructure across MENA and Turkey, supporting regional expansion, innovation, compliance, and talent acquisition. Fuze also secured a Retail Payment Services and Card Schemes license from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), enabling the launch of a regulated payments infrastructure alongside its digital asset offerings. More recently, Fuze was accepted into the Central Bank of Jordan’s regulatory sandbox (JoRegBox), marking its expansion and regulatory engagement in the Kingdom of Jordan. By enhancing cross-border payments and offering specialized OTC trading solutions, Mo is driving innovation in the region’s digital economy while aligning with the UAE’s Economic Vision 2030.
