The Naviaddress Team took part in Dubai’s Unlock Blockchain Forum 2018 held on January, 14 - 15th and introduced the Naviaddress platform, the digital addressing system on blockchain for the XXI century cities during the “Blockchain’s Invasion into the Real Estate Industry” panel.
NAVIADDRESS is an addressing system for the XXI century cities. It is being deployed onto the blockchain. The system provides users with naviaddresses as unified digital IDs for any place or object in physical and virtual worlds. This particular technology has the potential to revolutionize the traditional way people interact with addresses worldwide. The addressing system is already populated with 1.5 million naviaddresses and used by 60,000 active users.
Dmitri Moiseev, CEO of Naviaddress, took part in the panel discussion entitiled “Blockchain’s Invasion into the Real Estate Industry,” together with Khalifa Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions (UAE), Michiel Frackers, Founder of Bluenote (Netherlands) and Yousuf Dashqooni, Senior IT Security Manager of WASL (UAE). While introducing the Naviaddress addressing system, Moiseev emphasized that having “Naviaddress system on the blockchain will enable 4 billion people in the world living without addresses to obtain a postal address, verified (or secured) on the blockchain at a minimum cost. This creates an untapped stream of potential clients and end-users for e-retailers and delivery businesses. Local governments will gain access to verified, and thereby, accessible citizens and be able to supply them with essential services.”

Naviaddress falls into the category of blockchain ID management systems that will simplify the way transactions are conducted with retailers and delivery businesses as well as with each other - without compromising privacy or security. Today, up to 20% of addresses are not verified upon first usage due to some mistakes in address spelling, address verification and “last mile” navigation problems. Setting up the Naviaddress platform on the blockchain will make it possible to provide authenticated locations for e-retail and delivery services as well as for international tourists.
Naviaddress system disrupts the traditional addressing system by giving users a convenient and fast way to replace their lengthy physical postal address with a naviaddress, a digital unified address, which is a short, easy-to-memorize and communicate in any language. It may also function as “a smart address” because users can assign and store relevant information such as “last mile” navigation (embedded geographical coordinates, physical address, hours of operation, route description, photos and other relevant information), which makes it easier to find complicated, remote locations or newly built structures. A Naviaddress can be used via online map or a mobile app.
Naviaddress is using blockchain technology to ensure the system will not be managed or controlled by a central entity. The company is ready to go global and has announced an ICO in March 2018.
