ConsenSys To Provide A Series of Blockchain Workshops

Global blockchain specialist ConsenSys announces a strategic tie-up with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), to provide a series of workshops, which will kick off at the fifth annual Knowledge Summit taking place in Dubai on 5-6 December 2018, and run into the first half of 2019.
Organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), the theme of this year’s summit, Youth and the Future of the Knowledge Economy, mirrors ConsenSys’ wider agenda in the region, which includes improving education and awareness of the potential of the Ethereum blockchain as an enabler of decentralized systems.
“This partnership with MBRF is designed to deliver in-depth training for both executives and technical teams around blockchain technology. Its aim is to facilitate effective blockchain implementation by government institutions and companies across a variety of sectors,” said Samsul Karim, Senior Edtech Expert, ConsenSys.

As the official Blockchain Partner of The Knowledge Summit 2018, ConsenSys will deliver a comprehensive session on Day 1 focused on demystifying blockchain myths. ConsenSys also announced that they would be delivering five executive and technical workshops between February and May 2019, in conjunction with MBRF targeting government entities, C-suite executives, middle management and professionals.
“Education remains high on our agenda in the region as much as it does globally. In 2019 we will be rolling out 4 bootcamps across different cities in the Middle East and North Africa aimed at students, professionals, and refugees. We also have a bounties and grants programs for open-source projects as part of our continued efforts to support decentralized application development,” added Karim.
The Knowledge Summit is a global knowledge platform that brings together prominent decision makers, academics and experts from various sectors, to engage in constructive discussions, explore best practices, and propose solutions to address future challenges. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and the directives of MBRF’s Chairman H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Summit is set to take place on December 5-6, 2018, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
