Bahrain NaLikes Studio, comprised of students from the University of Bahrain have launched very first gaming NFT from Bahrain. The collections called “Cuboids” was released in September 2021 on OpenSea. They have released 100 limited edition.
NaLikes Studio is an indie game development studio based in Bahrain. As per their website Cuboids are on a mission to take back their land. As posted, "Long before apes, bulls or whales Cuboids roamed the metaverse. Living life secretly and peacefully. Then, the Blockchain revolution exposed them to the world. Cuboids were forced out of their homes in the metaverse by the invaders and were abandoned. At the moment, they are homeless; wandering freely in the NFT space. Own a Cuboid and help them in their mission to take back their land!"
They have won and participated in several events from Unreal Bahrain, Amazon Web Services, and the Mena Hackathon. The majority of proceeds from this NFT project will be spent on further developing their solution and among charities for hearing-loss and disabilities.
